The strength of a Robust wall is far superior than conventional walling systems due its high lateral and load bearing capabilities.
The Robust technology lends itself to be a much faster walling construction method in comparison to that of conventional systems and provides quicker turnaround times.
The Robust Core wall panels weigh 3,5kg/m² and provides for a lighter structure that makes handling of these panels very easy, creating a better labour throughput.
The Robust walls fit together as a single diaphragm structure without any joints and seams that can cause structural interference normally caused by soil movement such as earthquakes.
As with other innovative and/or alternative systems, Robust is not a modular system limited or restrained to a specific moulding, module or dimension.
Compared to other innovative, alternative and conventional building systems, the Robust Building System is a far more durable product and high in performance whilst being affordable.
The Robust Building System has a proven track record and the system has been accredited and approved by various engineering and building councils, organisations and institutions worldwide.
Although the Robust walls are more durable and has higher performance values than other walling systems, it is still thinner and thus creates additional internal living space in all types of buildings.
The Robust Building System is a reinforced walling system that can be applied structurally by merely adjusting the wall thickness and steel and mortar requirements. This allows the system to be used as loadbearing walls.
Robust wall panels create a backdrop for mortar to be mechanically applied. It creates an in-situ environment to build reinforced structural walls without having to use expensive shuttering or formwork.
Due to the system being lightweight and highly compact in its raw core form, 9,500m2 of wall core panels (34tons) fits onto a super link truck, equivalent to 86 BNG/RDP 40m2 houses.
Effective Transport leads to a huge reduction in Carbon emission and costs. Robust requires only 14% of transport in comparison with that of brick delivery statistics. 86% less in emission of fossil fuels.
